We provide academic support with effective counseling geared towards NCAA eligibility for student-athletes in athletic programs.
We strive to equip students with the academic knowledge to achieve excellence using a flexible learning environment—allowing our students to develop the skills necessary for success in and beyond the classroom.
About Imagine Learning Excellence Academy
Established in 2011 as Edgenuity Virtual Academy, Imagine Learning Excellence Academy provides an online alternative to a traditional high school education, including learning options specifically tailored to NCAA athletes.
After a rebrand in 2023, Imagine Learning Excellence Academy remains committed to offering the same great teachers, accreditation, curriculum, and student experience.
With headquarters in Tempe, Arizona, we exist to serve students from across the nation with flexible, completely online classes designed to fit students’ needs.
Imagine Learning Excellence Academy is fully accredited by Cognia. Our curriculum has been recognized for promoting and maintaining a well-balanced education program and for meeting or exceeding standards considered essential for quality education.

I’m excited to welcome you to Imagine Learning Excellence Academy. Our faculty and staff can’t wait to meet you, learn about your goals, and discover best how to partner with you on your educational journey. Each student’s story is unique, and we want to understand yours.
To succeed at ILEA, I encourage you to remain patient with yourself as you learn; stay curious about new ideas and concepts; use strategy when choosing courses, ask for help as we all work together and collaborate on what success looks like for you; remain strong as you face new challenges; communicate clearly, openly, and kindly; and remember to play!
