NCAA Requirements
As easy as 1, 2, 3:
- Earn 16 NCAA-approved core course credits in the following areas: English, math, science, core elective, social science, additional electives.
- Complete 10 of 16 NCAA-approved core course credits, including 7 in English, math, or science before the start of your 7th semester. Once you begin your 7th semester, any course that is needed to meet the 10/7 requirement cannot be replaced or repeated.
- Submit your final transcript with proof of graduation to the NCAA Eligibility Center.
NCAA Eligibility Center
As a future Division I and II student-athlete, you have the responsibility of signing up with the NCAA Eligibility Center. College-bound students who want to compete at a Division I, II or III school and receive an athletic scholarship, must meet academic and/or amateurism standards set by the NCAA. Creating a profile with the NCAA Clearinghouse is the first step to this process.

**Taking additional Science courses are recommended for college bound students. If taken, this would require fewer elective courses.

We are partnered with Parchment, a digital credential service! You can order your official transcripts to be sent directly to the NCAA Eligibility Center and/or your university through Parchment.
Flexible Schedule
ILEA is an accredited, online private school open to student-athletes in the U.S. and around the world. Student-athletes attending ILEA have the benefit of accessing their virtual courses from anywhere and at their own pace, time, and schedule.

ILEA supports college-bound student-athletes by providing academic information, transcript services, and resources related to NCAA initial eligibility requirements. While ILEA does not provide NCAA counseling, eligibility certification, recruiting services, or scholarship placement services, our team can assist families in understanding graduation requirements, NCAA-approved coursework, and transcript processes.

- Provide information regarding NCAA-approved courses offered through ILEA.
- Assist families in understanding how courses appear on official transcripts.
- Share general information about NCAA Division I and Division II core-course requirements and publicly available NCAA resources.
- Help students review graduation plans to ensure required coursework is scheduled appropriately.
- Provide guidance on obtaining and submitting official transcripts through Parchment and other approved methods.
- Direct families to the NCAA Eligibility Center for official eligibility requirements, application procedures, and certification decisions.
- Share publicly available NCAA resources, guides, webinars, and informational materials.
- Coordinate transcript requests and enrollment verification documentation when required by colleges, universities, or the NCAA Eligibility Center.

Transcript Requests
ILEA provides official transcripts and enrollment verification documentation upon student request through the school’s approved transcript services process. Families should allow sufficient processing time to meet NCAA and college admissions deadlines.
